Antarctica literally took my breath away

I'll never forget the moment this continent appeared in the distance. We had been sailing two days thru Drakes passage with little to look at but gray sky and ocean. Out of no where, Antarctica appeared. That moment literally took my breath away. One of those moments you just know you will remember forever.

There is nothing like the beauty of all that is Antarctica. It's truly a place on Earth untouched by man. The smells, the sounds, the air, all just seemed pure. Closer to God if you will. I will be forever grateful for having the opportunity to experience this magnificent continent with the love of my life by my side.
