Costume Party & Thermal Spa

I’m typically not one to dress up for a costume party. I use my luggage space for the really important things like snorkeling gear and shoes. Until now.
That’s because I have never had the opportunity to sail with Marvelous Mimi and Mr Mike! This gentlewoman whipped up costumes and an entire theme (complete with group chant) in no time at all. One quick rehearsal and we were ready to roll.
We came as the “Glow Gods of the South Pacific”. Loren from the activities staff made us some signs, we had leis around our next, flower crowns in our hair, and pulsating glow sticks to finish the costume.
Goddess of Shore Excursion (Mimi)
God of WiFi (Mike)
Goddess of trivia (Mary)
God of the midnight buffet (Al)
God of Happy Hour (yours truly)

You might be asking how a costume party and thermal spa are related - I’m very proud to say we won the costume contest!! HAL was gracious enough to offer us different spa treatments which we traded immediately like kids trading pokeman cards. I swapped a facial for a day on the thermal spa and used it the very next day.

The relax room needs better chairs and a couple nice tables but I throughly enjoyed the thermolassaphy pool and heated tile chairs and I feel that this was a very generous gift from HAL- much more useful than a wooden tulip.

I’m still looking for folks with pics/video of our group - if you have any I’d appreciate you sending it!
