We booked the 360 tour to circle the entire island of San Cristobal. We ended up on the “golden reel” fishing boat. The boat was a bit jangy, especially when compared to the Natural Paradise. The guide was “fair”, compared to James, but it was a full 8 hour day with lots of varied activities (snorkeling with hammerhead and eagle rays, beach time, deep sea fishing, lagoon swim, and on the way back we spend some time hanging out with a couple hundred bottle nosed dolphins). So all in all it was a successful day.

Here are a few videos of our dolphin encounter

Just outside of Punta Pitt they tossed a few fishing lines out and within a half hour we had a nice sized Wahoo (known as Ono in Hawaii). The captain turned that fish into ceviche while we snorkeled in a lagoon- served with onion, avacado, crackers, etc). Sherpa said it was delicious. I passed and ate chicken and pinnapple.

I opted for the chicken lunch
