This is a list of the tours we completed along with the contact information. We had great luck with all the walking tours so would highly recommend those.

Hotel in Santiago was perfect location. Very inexpensive. I do recommend you have the hotel arrange for transportation to the airport. It was a treat having someone waiting for us with our name on it. The cost was not that much more than had we tried to arrange transportation on our own and Santiago transportation can be sketchy.

Highly recommend Mauricio if you are looking to hire a private driver in Santiago!

Puerto Mott: The tour with Denis Purtov had a little glitch with the lunch (see my comments in the live review). But other than that it was fine.

Puerto Chacabuco: I would do this trip again. The lunch was great. We ended up with a private tour of the beer brewery at the back of the property. Ask the son of the owner if he will give you a quick tour. Very well put together.

Porta Arenas: Love this!! Our first experience with penguins. I booked this thru HAL because Purta Arenas often gets cancelled. I'd do this again.

Ushuaia: This hike was pretty tame. It was OK. We used HAL shore excursion credit. There were people on this tour that had no business being on a 'strenuous' hike (we had four falls and one lady needed to be practically carried up an incline). For anyone reasonably fit this is a stroll thru a garden. Don't expect cardio.

Stanley: We did volunteer point and I would highly recommend. Doesn't matter which tour operator you book thru. They all go to the same place. Our driver ended up giving us an extra tour of the town of stanley and Gypsy bay to see more penguins.

Puerta Madryn: This was Sherpa's favorite penguin tour. The ride there is super boring (and over an hour), but once at the site everything was wonderful.

I would recommend any of the walking tours we did.

The tango show offered by HAL was fine. We could have done it cheaper on our own.

The day trip up the Tigre river to the resort town was a lovely way to cap off the vacation.

I highly recommend Hyatt Duhau Palace!!
